I hate it when some Muslims separate “Muslims in general” from “White people”.
If a non Muslims acts ignorant of our religion, or hurts us, or is just plain stupid, it’s always generalised as “White people”.
Not “Non Muslims”.
Is it so hard to say Non Muslim? Because that’s what they really are.
Why do you have to specifically say “white” when there are so many white brothers and sisters in Islam?
When I first reverted everyone called me “FAKE MUSLIM” because of my skin colour. Along with so much more abuse and discrimination.
Even the few Muslims in my school at the time turned their noses up at me.
So when I see Muslims separating “Muslims” from “White people” it hurts me.
Because I go through all the discrimination that a “real Muslim” goes through.
So can we please start using the correct terms.
Use “non Muslim” if you want to talk about non Muslims.
This religion is not a membership for people only of certain races.
By speaking like that you’re only reinforcing a negative stereotype that “all Muslims have to be people of colour”.
So think before you speak.
